Alphabet Quilt

Have your class practice basic word processing skills as they create an alphabet quilt. Using a word processing program, assign each quilter a letter. After selecting and inserting a clip art picture of something that starts with that letter, and labeling the picture with WordArt lettering, pupils print their squares. Assemble the squares to create your quilt to hang on the class room wall. Multiple copies of squares can be printed and made into a book to take home and share.
