An American Landmark

Sixth graders choose a landmark and access at least two pieces of information per topic, regarding its location, physical characteristics, history, and the impact the landmark had on individuals and society as a whole in the past, present, and future. In this American Landmark instructional activity, 6th graders use a graphic organizer to organize and record their facts that will be used in the future to write their Civic Oration speech.
