The art of Santiago Bose is analyzed by budding artists. They fully examine a piece of art, making note of the various techniques and choices the artist made to express his ideas. They look for evidence that shows how Bose felt about colonialism in the Philippines, then use the evidence to draw conclusions about the piece. Afterward, they create assemblage pieces that express aspects of their own culture and write a first-person narrative describing their art.
