Students discuss the possibility of social adaptation between humans and animals. In this fictional literature lesson, students analyze a story of a young boy whose consciousness supposedly enters a baboon. Students research the social characteristics of the baboon, and then use this information to discuss the details of the story.  Students compare and contrast the social lives of baboons to that of humans, and create a journal entry related to the plot of the story.
