Bounce Back

Students investigate the rebound height of a bouncing ball.  In this Algebra I/Algebra II lesson, students explore the pattern of rebound height of a bouncing ball using technology (CBR unit and graphing calculator).  Students develop a function that will model the rebound heights for a particular bounce and use the model to predict the height of the ball for any bounce.

When plans are needed, and time is short, I begin here for help from my colleagues. The framework of lessons, excellent worksheets, and multimedia presentations has proved extremely helpful.
