Building a Pill Bug Palace

Students examine the components of the scientific process and design a controlled experiment that tests a hypothesis. They discuss what they know about isopods before deciding what to include in an isopod habitat. Next, they design an experiment dealing with the likes and dislikes of the isopods that others could replicate. They complete group presentations of their experiment which is used as an assessment.
