Celebrating San Jacinto Day

Students remember that Texans celebrate Texas Independence Day on March 2 each year when the Texas Declaration of Independence was signed. They develop and create a calendar in honor of the heroes who fought in the Battle of San Jacinto which secured Texas independence.
