China Supports Neighbors

Students read an article about China's competiveness with Western countries to give aid to its people. They identify China on a world map and reasons why it is important to be able to locate the country. In groups, they create a proposal to solve a human rights problem. To end the lesson, they discuss how the United States and China's relationship might be strained if China supports its neighbors.

Thomas A.
Lesson Planet provides plans that are a snap to personalize or utilize as is. Providing rigor and relevance the lessons are an excellent resource. I highly recommend LP for both the new teacher and the well seasoned pedagogue.
