Climate and Temperature: Sinusoidal Models

Students explore the concept of sine and cosine.  In this sine and cosine instructional activity, students model temperature and climate using sine and cosine.  Students determine the sine or cosine function to represent temperature data over the course of a year.  Students determine amplitude, wavelength, etc. of their model.
