Collect and Model Trigonometric Data

Eleventh graders explore the relationship between music and trigonometry.  In this Algebra II/Trigonometry lesson, 11th graders collect and analyze data regarding the sound of a musical instrument.  Students graph the pressure of sound as a function of time, calculate the amplitude and frequency, and write the sine function for the note.
