Computer Versus Tutor

Help your young writers develop their persuasive writing techniques in this New York Times lesson. They investigate objections to computer education, and develop their own outline for a computer lesson that would normally be taught in a traditional classroom. They could also prepare an argument for live teaching as opposed to a computer lesson. Use this lesson to reinforce the importance of distinguishing one's own argument from opposing arguments.

Lesson Planet has not only provided me with lesson plan ideas but it also has given me the inspiration to create more inquiry-based lessons for my Biology students.
