Conducting an HIV/AIDS Awareness Campaign for Teenagers in Your Local Community

Students in an ESL classroom develop a survey to give to their local community to determine the awareness of HIV and AIDS. In groups, they develop and create a brochure to hand out to teenagers in area on how to protect themselves. To end the lesson, they evaluate their effectiveness in getting through to the young.
