Constructing Graphs

In this constructing graphs learning exercise, 9th graders solve 11 problems to include identifying the information that represents the independent and dependent variable and to create a graph of the data, being sure to label the axes and plotting the points. They also determine the pattern seen in the graph and write the rule that represents the data given for the total number. In addition, students complete a table that reflects data collected and the rule applied.
