Count

Looking for a good way to help your young mathematicians become profiecient and confident when counting from 1 - 10? This instructional activity is for you! Learners listen as you read books about counting. As you're reading, whenever they hear a number, they hold up an index card that has that number printed on it. They practice counting to ten by counting their fingers, toes, crayons, and any other objects they can find. This activity goes along with the Arthur episode: "Arthur vs. the Very Mean Crossing Guard."

Lesson planning can be so time consuming. Now I can spend some time with my kids. Quality lessons when you've got that "not so creative" feeling.
