Counting and Cardinality

This Counting and Cardinality lesson plan also includes:

What a fun way to practice counting and cardinality! Print out the provided ten-frame templates in one color, and the number cards in another. Partners lay out all the cards upside down and play a matching game as they attempt to pair numbers with filled-in ten-frames. Challenge them more with double frames (also included), and encourage observation in counting. For example, they might be counting each counter on the frame, but they could simply start with "5" if the first row is filled.
