Crayfish Observation and Dissection

Young scholars investigate the structures and their functions of a crayfish. In this crayfish dissection lesson plan, students observe the external features of a crayfish and answer questions about their functions. They also dissect and observe the internal anatomy of the crayfish by taking off the carapace. Young scholars answer questions about the internal structures and their functions using the dissected crayfish and given diagrams.
