Cross Country Skiing

Young scholars are introduced to cross country skiing. They sit down on picnic tables in Craft Building. Students study how they are going to fit their skis, boots, and poles. They are explained that the ski boots are in European (metric) sizes. Young scholars determine that the ski boots should not fit tightly, but leave enough room for one finger between the end of your toe and the tip of the boot.

Alexis M.
Lesson Planet has given me more time to teach and plan thoughtful lessons rather than spending that time scouring the Internet for resources and just throwing study guides at students!
