Decide the Point of View

Most people know two of the three points of view. Which one often gets forgotten? Explore the three different points of view with your middle schoolers, and identify the effects of using each one. They then begin pre-writing for an orginal descriptive paragraph about a storm. Use this instructional activity to focus on author's point of view in both fiction and nonfiction writing.
