Decide the Point of View

Most people know two of the three points of view. Which one often gets forgotten? Explore the three different points of view with your middle schoolers, and identify the effects of using each one. They then begin pre-writing for an orginal descriptive paragraph about a storm. Use this lesson to focus on author's point of view in both fiction and nonfiction writing.

Almetta K.
My students have had many opportunities to extend their learning by engaging in extra practice activities that I found through Lesson Planet. It's much easier to differentiate instruction because I can pull together various levels of the same skill. Thanks for making my life a little less hectic.
