Development of Democracy

Eighth graders investigate the main ideals of the Declaration of Independence. They design an illustrated version of the document that can be used by third graders to understand its meaning. They rephrase eight sections and illustrate them in a way that grabs the interest of third grade students using "History Alive" resources.
