Domestic Issues During the Washington and Adams

Students analyze the ideals of people who began the new nation of the United States. Using maps, they describe the physical landscapes, political divisions and land expansion during the first four presidents. They discuss the rise of capitalism and economic problems that plagued the nation at its beginning. They discover how their daily lives differ from those who lived in the past.
