Economics of Autographs

Students read an article about how certain autographs are making a lot of money when sold. Individually, they write an essay describing why people pay a lot of money for an autograph. In groups, they create a t-chart which describes the characteristics of the autograph that would make it more valuable. They write a conversation with a famous person they have always wanted to meet.
