Egg Launch Contest

Ready! Set! Launch! Your class can't help but be engaged with this opportunity to explore quadratic equations through egg launches. They are given data from three teams who launched an egg in the air and recorded the height of the egg over time. Using tables, graphs, equations, and regression lines, pairs or small groups analyze the data to determine which team's egg went the highest. Take this lesson to the next level by conducting your own launch experiments!

I was an intern last year. I didn't always have the time to look at the files of other teachers at 10pm at night. LessonPlanet saved me so many times I've lost count. I would look all over other websites for quality lesson plans and, no surprise, I always ended up here.
