Evaluating Evidence

One piece of evidence is not enough to support a conclusion. This mini-instructional activity demonstrates for learners the problems that can arise when an assertion lacks convincing evidence. For guided practice, learners test the evidence offered to support a writer's contention that parental violence at youth sporting events is "out of control."

I subscribed to Lesson Planet after I started teaching science at my district's alternative school. Science isn't my specialty so it has been a real life saver! I am able to find lots resources to enrich my lessons! It's a tremendous time saver too! Why reinvent the wheel?
