Fact vs. Opinion

Blue is the best color!  All people must breathe to live. Learning to separate fact from opinion is essential. After constructing definitions for these words, learners search sources for examples of each. A concluding activity, creating a “My Opinion Matters” wheel with cut out sections labeled “What I can say to myself” in response to “When others say…,” provides a valuable tool for dealing with the sometimes hurtful comments of others.

Starting a new program means developing new lesson plans. I was surprised to see hundreds of lesson plans already created for my classroom subject. This gives me the inspiration I need to create my own. Many great ideas - a gold mine.
