The Aspen FACE (free-air carbon dioxide enrichment) Experiment was set up in Wisconsin to assess the effects of increased carbon dioxide and ozone on forest ecosystems. Environmental science learners examine and graph the growth index data for the aspen trees involved. You will need to familiarize yourself with the Aspen FACE website prior to showing the associated photos in class.
