If there is one word in all the English language that gets me pumped, it's forensics. Young super sleuths and spies will love investigating the invisible ink used to write a secret message, considering and categorizing fingerprints, and using paper chromatography to separate mixtures composed of different pigments. Each of the three activities comes with background information and a full set of instructions for you to use as a single investigative lesson plan or on their own in chemistry class. Tip: Add a bit of mystery and establish a crime scene, the kids will need to work through each of these activities to determine who did it.
