Students discover how increasing populationsput pressure on ecosystems. As each student enters the room, they drop poker chips in a corner to demonstrate graphically how this pressure mounts. On maps of the Galveston Bay Lower Watershed, they identify the five counties, the four bays, two major watersheds, and various man-made features.
