Gas Laws

Students investigate the effects of temperature and pressure on the volume of gases. In this gas laws lesson plan, students rotate through 5 stations and observe the relationships between the temperature of a gas and the volume and the pressure of a gas and the volume. Stations include a vacuum pump with marshmallows, a tea kettle with boiling water, a Cartesian diver, a balloon in ice and a balloon in hot water and a sponge.
