Geometree Thievery

Just how old is the tree? Using their knowledge of ratios and the distance formula, pupils determine the age of special trees. They do this by using the ratio of the underground to above ground portions of the tree. Along with finding the ages of trees, scholars determine the length of the roots based upon the age.
