Geometric Shadows

Youngsters learn to recognize the characteristics of two and three dimensional shapes. Learners predict if a shape that is two or three dimensional is translucent, opaque, or transparent based on what they have just learned. They use a flashlight to try to create a shadow to check their predictions. If computers are available the pupils can participate in an online activity with shapes.
