Geometry through "Twizzlers"

Third graders explore geometric shapes. The teacher reads a story about simple shapes formed in geometry and creates models for the students to observe. In groups, 3rd graders use raisins and Twizzlers to model the types of lines and angles. Students discuss the similarities and differences between the created examples.
