Good Grapes! A Math Lesson

This resource also includes:

As the title says, the lesson presented focuses mostly on math; however, pupils also complete related language arts activities. Learners read about the history, domestication, and transport of grapes, and then use actual grapes to complete a series of activities. They count grapes by 1's, 5's, and 10's, sort them by color, graph them by color, then use them in a probability activity. They sequence the grape life cycle, read the fable "The Fox and the Grapes," and makegrape art. Though the publisher has tagged this for Common Core standards from kindergarten through fourth grade, you will want to preview the content and the handouts to determine whether or not it is truly appropriate for your grade level.
