Government: We the People

Students discuss and compare their own ideas about the purposes of government with those stated in the Constitution. In small groups they discuss government regulatory agencies, ways to demonstrate approval of the government, and examine the language and importance of the Preamble. Additional activities include creating skits about the constitution's framing and designing symbols for the parts of the Preamble.

Randi L.
Lesson Planet has changed my whole teaching style. I am able to customize my lesson plans for relevance not by what is already available. I like the relevance to issues facing today's youth.
