Grab and Count

How many did you grab? Young learners practice counting as they grab items and count how many they got. Counters do this twice, recording what they grabbed and how many in a space on the worksheet. It is unclear what they are grabbing- consider putting a variety of things in a bag, having them draw images of the items they grabbed and how many they ended up with. Use pennies, paperclips, beans, marbles, etc.
