Young scholars read an article about the conviction of Lewis Libby, Jr. Individually, they try to identify the thoughts going through Libby's head when the verdict was read. They role-play the role of advisors to President Bush to determine if he should pardon Libby or not. As a class, they discuss whether they believe Libby is going to be pardoned.
