Home Cooking: Creating Healthy Meal Plans

Young scholars create healthy meal plans. In this nutrition lesson plan, students discuss the Food Pyramid and use this knowledge to analyze cookbook recipes and fast food meals. Then, young scholars work cooperatively to create healthy meal plans for five days, including three home-cooked meals per day. Students determine the nutritional content of their meal plans.
