Hot or Cold Perspective

Young scholars fold legal size white paper horizontally in half and then half again, unfold to reveal four rectangles. They next begin at the left side drawing a skyline across the paper and paint with one hot or cold color adding a lot of black for the first rectangle, continuing this pattern until the last rectangle contains the base color plus a lot of white.
