Physical science investigators visit four stations to experiment with light. At the first station, they view the interior of two different colored boxes without light, then open them to discover their true colors. At the second, they play with the color spectrum. At the third, they spin a colorful fan to combine colors. At the fourth, they view red and green apples through red and green filters. Although the lesson states that it is for 9th graders, it is actually more appropriate for your upper elementary scientists.
