What can you do in a minute? To better appreciate how long they should be brushing their teeth, young learners time each tother performing a variety of different tasks for one minute. First, however, students record their day one observations for the egg experiment started in the previous lesson. The class discusses how the food and drink we consume remain on our teeth and cause cavities if we do not brush regularly. A good lesson that emphasizes the importance of oral hygiene. The included activity can also be used independently when teaching third graders how to measure time intervals.
