How Tall is that Tree?

Students identify and discuss different ways they can measure how high a tree is. They select and apply the appropriate math strategies and then, apply graphic and numeric models to solve the problem for the height of a large tree. Finally, students use their data collected to define the differences between the height of the tallest and shortes trees.
