Hush Money in China

Young scholars read an article about the blackmailing by journalists to others in China. As a class, they discuss the problems with newspapers printing stories that are not true. In groups, they role-play the role of advisors to the Free Press Association to identify ways to reduce the amount of bribery. They write an essay about the relationship between a communist society and the incidents of bribery.
