Interstellar Extinction Curve

Students explore how astronomers use theoretical models to interpret the light they measure in telescopes and discover that this is only one method out of many available. They examine the constraints of cosmic abundances and the polarization of light are also used to deduce what the material causing extinction in the galaxy consists.
