Intro Algebra: Graphing Data and the Coordinate Plane

Young scholars bounce various tennis and racket balls, predicting and recording how fast they can bounce and catch them. They graph the results on a coordinate plane. And then, they compare their graphs with one another, analyzing how different variables affected their results. Finally, students identify how temperature can change the elasticity of materials.

Lesson Planet has been a lifesaver for me, especially when I am in a time crunch and need a resource quickly. While I consider myself a very creative person, sometimes I need to utilize the great ideas of fellow teachers to get my creative juices flowing. Lesson Planet has been pivotal in this regard.
