Is Perception Reality? Examining Contradictory Situations

Students write poems inspired by music. In this poetry lesson, students study the meaning of paradox and the differences between perception and reality. The class listens to songs which contain examples of paradox. Students then write original poems based on paradox using the songs as a guide for their writing.
