So, is there? This is discovery-based learning at its finest as scholars measure their height and feet length, graph the data, and determine if there is a correlation. They predict what the graph will look like before conducting the experiment, sketching it on the provided worksheet. Once learners have collected the data, the entire group creates a class scatterplot (if you don't have an online graphing program this can easily, and perhaps preferably, be done by hand). Is it a positive, negative, or non-existent correlation? Next, scholars choose another relationship to research and graph. There are two options given, or they can make one up on their own (i.e. number of pets and allowance).
