It's Cold

Students read an article about the falling temperatures in Milwaukee and how school projects are stopped because of the weather. As a class, they discuss what it means to be cold and discover it is a very personal distinction. In groups, they determine whether school should be cancelled when the weather is extremely cold. They also design a device to control the weather outside.
