Japanese American Baseball in the Camps

Pupils become aware of how Japanese Americans lived during World War II. In this lesson about baseball and how it affected Japanese Americans, students analyze the lives of these people. The lesson is divided into three parts where pupils activate background knowledge, look at images, read a story, and write about what they have learned. Students will understand through the activities the events that happened during this time period.
