Ladies of the Houses: Women in Congress

Students discuss the changes in practice specified by the 19th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States and why there was opposition to women's suffrage. They use websites to analyze the changing role of women both in the numbers and in the positions of authority held since 1920. They then write a paragraph on what they have discovered.
