Land and Water

Fourth graders experiment with the medium of watercolor, they use a dry brush technique, wet paper, moving the brush in different ways to get different effects. Students have a water feature placed somewhere in their painting- a river, creek, and waterfall. They mix colors by layering the paint on the paper and students create a horizon line running the width of the paper
