Legacies of Colonialism

Young scholars explore the effects of colonialism in Africa. In this World History instructional activity, students read the Legacy of Colonialism and take a stance on Colonialism to write a letter to the editor. They are paired with a same-ability partner who writes a letter with an opposing view.  These letters are used to discuss the concept and history of Colonialism.
